The 69th BFI London Film Festival will run from 8 to 19 October 2025. The festival is the UK’s major annual cinematic event, showcasing new films, premieres, immersive storytelling, talks, and special events across London and partner venues across the UK.
Key venues in London include BFI Southbank, BFI IMAX, Royal Festival Hall, Curzon Mayfair, Curzon Soho, Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), Prince Charles Cinema, and Vue West End. Outside London, selected screenings will take place in partner cinemas across cities such as Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Sheffield, Belfast, Newcastle, Bristol, and others.
Ticketing: Prices start from £10 for general screenings, with special rates (as low as £6) for 25 & Under members. Gala and special premiere screenings cost more: Gala premieres are priced between £21–£30, with Opening and Closing Night Galas going up to £40. There are also repeat matinee screenings on weekdays and weekends at lower rates (for example, £16-£18 depending on time/day) for some events.
You can purchase tickets online via the BFI site; early booking windows open for BFI Patrons and Members, with general sale typically beginning mid-September.
